Commercial kitchens need their gas installation and appliances checked, and many operators, landlords and insurers ask for a commercial catering gas safety certificate. We carry out commercial catering gas safety checks and issue CP42 certificates.
The commercial catering gas work we carry out is recorded on a formal written inspection report, which you keep for your records.
What a CP42 covers
A CP42 is the widely used commercial catering gas safety record. It relates to the gas-fired catering equipment and installation on the premises. We check the equipment and installation we are competent to work on, and issue the certificate on that basis.
- Commercial catering gas appliances
- Gas installation serving the kitchen
- Isolation and connection to equipment
